Protect
Without Replacing
The SafeShutter™ Window is designed to install over your existing window, adding a layer of ballistic protection without requiring you to replace the entire window with a bullet-resistant system. This retrofit approach provides a practical way to increase security while making use of the window already in place.
Designed Around Your Space
Every project has different security, performance, and design requirements. SafeWood offers several ballistic glazing options, including traditional laminated glass, insulated ballistic glass, acrylic, polycarbonate, and glass-clad systems. Each option offers different benefits in areas such as protection level, thickness, weight, light transmission, durability, and energy performance, allowing the glazing to be selected based on how and where it will be used. Windows can also be specified with custom sizing, frame configurations, and finishes to complement the surrounding architecture.
